Review: Java Coding Problems
I was invited to review Packt's Java Coding Problems by Anghel Leonard, and as I mentioned on LinkedIn, this is truly an excellent book! If you're seeking a high-quality resource to enhance your Java skills, this book is definitely worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed delving into Java features, including those in JDK 21, while solving real problems and gaining valuable insights. It has become a fantastic addition to my daily work routine.
Within the book, you will find sections dedicated to Date and Time, Records, Collections (including Sequenced Collections), Concurrency (featuring Virtual Threads), and many others.
"I can ask ChatGPT to provide examples for all these sections."
True (and false). If you don't subscribe to ChatGPT's premium features, it will still operate on JDK 17.
This is a good guide and tutorial. You can find good resources for free, but sometimes it's worth paying for quality. =D
This is one of the good ones.
If you're looking for a quality resource for free, I recommend trying out the 100 Days of Java challenges. You can find them here: 100 Days of Java. Plus, you might even contribute to enhancing them with new features. It could be your first open-source project!
Tomorrow, I'll be discussing Java Records at the Dev Converge LATAM event, which will be broadcasted on the Quarkus Club Channel. The event starts at 7:00 PM (GMT-3).
I'll write about it next week.
Happy coding!
